so as many of you may not know, im a collage student taking classes that are mostly directed towards art etc.

i made a comment to one of my friends at school about how i wish i could post more than just rough drafts on DA as i dont really have the time to.

not only did he tell me NOT to use DA, but 4-6 other students AND a teacher, all told me not to us DA.

reasons ranged from, EXTREAM sencoring beyond reason, art thefts even from DA staff, selfrichous people that will only be happy seeing women compleatly covered as if it was winter and attempts to fuge the real rights of an artist and so on.

there have also been claims that people are banned just because some of the mods dont like the style, content or ........... the color of some ones works.

at first i was thinking WTF? but looking at some of the things that peole have had removed because of what ever reason that is a baseless reason or what ever, alot of this i can actually see being true.

by the DA rules etc, a woman that looks over the age of 20 can be 100% nude, but put some one like .... Kim Possible, Kiva from Megas XLR, Sailor Moon or some other toon character in a swim suit on a beach or what ever, its removed. O_o

sure 2 of the characters i listed dont look like they are 20, but according to what i have seen in the rules, so long as the person isnt nude AND doing some thing really sexual like using some kind of a toy, there are no grounds for the removal.

i have also seen people have a work of art removed by some one or another, then they talk to a mod and its back up, next day the person is banned or some thing. @_@

im starting to really see why my teacher and other students are saying dont use DA, i mean this really sucks the big one.

cant they make up their minds or some thing?
